Since the autumn of 2009, some areas in Southwest China witnessed rare drought. This unprecedented drought swallowed the life source of over 50 million affected people, threatening the people’s production and livelihood. This disaster shocks us and concerns us a lot.

Disaster is relentless, whereas humans have emotions; when disasters struck, help came from all sides. We, in active response to the request from HE, led by the company party committee, launched a donation for the drought-affected area throughout the company to further support drought relief to help affected people to tide over the crisis and convey our care and blessing to them. Staff responded proactively and made generous donations. The company management team exemplifies the staff working abroad on foreign donation projects, even those on trips in foreign projects entrusted others to donate for them. In the donation ceremony for the Southwest Drought Affected Area held by the company, 356 employees donated RMB 68,380.

While making donations, all the staff expressed their wish to transform the full zeal of supporting the drought relief into a strong impetus to better their own duty through working overtime with great suggestions, and contributed to the drought-affected people with actual action.
