Ever since our Paiton Project office in Indonesia commenced construction in Jul 2007, we have always attached the greatest of importance to creating friendship and communicating with the local government and the people. With the intention of carrying out the project and establishing friendship, we have actively sought to implement public benefit activities.

Based on the study and analysis of the local political situation and the conditions of the people, the office determined three areas to focus on in our work for the good of the local public: firstly, with consideration to the fact that the local government＇s attention centers on primary education but lacks sufficient funds, we have invested in education; secondly, with consideration to the fact that local people emphasize the importance of sports and training, we have invested in grassroots sports projects; thirdly, with consideration to the fact that above 80% of citizens are Muslim, we have invested in religion. In October 2008, the office donated 15 sets of computers to the local school with a total value of RMB 45,000. In April 2009, the Office donated 350 sets of gym suits to the Paiton Township Government with a value of around RMB 30,000. The local government organized a lively ceremony, accompanied by local singing and dancing, to accept these donations, and invited project leaders and relevant personnel. On top of this, in line with the contractual obligations of the power plant construction, we have built a mosque for the local Muslims. In the course of construction, we fully respected the doctrines and practices of Islam, while still satisfying the schedule and quality demands. The project has already been completed, and ranks as one of the better mosque in the area in terms of scale and quality, obtaining good remarks from the local government and people.
