This year marks the 50th anniversary of the Sino-Sudan Diplomatic Relationship, your company has proactively responded to the Embassy＇s initiatives, and donated money for Sudan Darfur. Your kindness embodies the noble spirit of a Chinese company＇s concern in doing public good through active investment in the local society, further betters the good image that Chinese companies enjoy in Sudan, makes a favorable contribution in increasing the mutual understanding and friendship between the people of these two countries, and promotes the sound cooperative tie between the two countries. At the same time, this helps enhance the cooperation between Chinese companies, the Sudanese Government and private companies, which creates a good social environment for the company itself. For this, we extend our praise and thanks.

Our engineering company received this Letter from the Chinese Embassy in Sudan on Jun 23rd, 2009.

Since we made our entry into the electric market in Sudan in 2000, we have contracted and built the Sudan Garri Phase I Combined Cycle Power Plant, the Merowe Transmission Project and the Sudan Garri Phase II Combined Cycle Power Plant. These projects bring light and hope to the local people, and provide an outstanding contribution to the local economy and social development.

HEI was actively responded to the donation initiative from the Chinese Embassy, and leapt to the aid of Darfur. It is our wish to help the region achieve local economic reconstruction and growth via such actions, and to write a new chapter in the friendship between China and Sudan.
