HEI’s first project in
Uzbekistan’s power market, the
Angren Project represents the bond of cooperation between China and Uzbekistan as
a public benefit project related to the development of Uzbekistan. The
Government of Uzbekistan also attached high importance to the Project, made it
an offering projectfor the 25th anniversary of the independence of
Uzbekistan, and required its completion and synchronization to the grid by the
end of August 2016. In order to meet the requirements of the Owner and build a demonstration
project in Central Asia, HEI carried out close cooperation with all sub-contractors,
scientifically organized the construction plans, practiced systemic concerted
management, overcame such difficulties as an insufficient workforce, narrow
operation space and differences in technical standards. The high-quality
product and high-efficiency services won high praise from the top government
leaders of Uzbekistan and the project owner. The successful synchronization of
this project plays an active role in promoting the all-round implementation of China’s national ‘OneBelt and One Road’ initiative.
