At 19:30 on December 10th, 2016 (local time), the auxiliary power of HEI’s Pakistan Bhikki 1180MW Combined Cycle Power Station Project, through its 500kV Switch Station, was successfully energized, and the main transformer, 11kV section of the centralized control building and 11kV section of the BOP distribution room were also successfully energized the following day, marking the smooth transition of the project from the installation peak phase to the commissioning peak phase.
Since the signing of the project on September 22nd, 2015, the project team has made every endeavor to overcome such difficulties as a short delivery period and intersecting and crossed construction for civil work and installation work, dedicating themselves to facing up the challenges, conducting active coordination and tackling tough issues. The auxiliary power was energized just 14 months and 18 days after the effectiveness of the contract, laying a solid foundation for the subsequent commissioning work.
