Unit 1 and Unit 2 of the 4X12MW Steam Turbine Generator Unit Expansion Project for the captive power plant of the Mongolian Erdenet Copper Mine contracted by HEI were successfully synchronized for power generation respectively at 12:58 and 18:52 on October 26, 2017, witnessed jointly by the owner and the Mongolian national electric power technology acceptance board. They were successfully synchronized at one time and successfully passed the relevant tests. All the relevant parameters have been fine.
Mr. Erdun chaogetu Vice President of the Mongolian Erdenet Mining Group went to the project site and inspected the synchronization of the units for power generation. He expressed his congratulation on the successful synchronization of the units for power generation and his satisfaction with the project under construction. He also highly praised HEI.
The Mongolian Erdenet Project is a landmark project connecting China with Mongolia in the implementation of the Belt and Road Initiative. It is also HEI’s first EPC project in Mongolia, which has important strategic significance to further exploration of the Mongolian electric power market.
