Up to 22:06 on March 7, 2018, the units of the Indonesian Banten 670MW Supercritical Coal-Fired Power Plant Project contracted by HEI and manufactured by HE had continuously and stably operated for 245 days.

Unit 1 of the Indonesian Banten Project contracted by HEI has continuously broken several stable operation records since its commissioning was completed and its stable operation was started on July 5, 2017. The generated electric power accumulated in the operation period has reached 3,026,641.02 MWH and its daily net generation has reached 12,303.42 MWH. Such continuous and stable operation has brought the best economic benefits to the employer and the strict operation management has won the 2017 Indonesian Project Environment Protection Award for Power Generation. Besides, with load adjustment according to the scheduling requirements of PLN, Unit 1 has become an important peak load regulation unit in the JAVA-BALI Grid System.

As required by PLN, on March 8, 2018,Unit 1 of the Indonesian Banten Project will undergo the first planned overhaul since it was put into operation. Now, HEI’s project team is offering close coordination and support to operators of the employer to facilitate their preparations before the maintenance outage.

The three main generating equipment of the project were all manufactured by HE. The achievement that the units have continuously and stably operated for 245 days since they were put into operation has hit new highs in continuous, safe and stable operation of HE’s exported equipment. The high stability, high reliability and high safety of the three main generating equipment have made the units the best among the units of the same type in the world and have set new world records of the international power plant industry in continuous stable operation and full-load operation within the EPC warranty period.

The consummation of the project has fully proven the high quality of the products manufactured by HE and manifested the status and authority of HE in the international power plant industry. Meanwhile, it has laid a solid foundation for the further development and cooperation of HEI in Indonesia and the Southeast Asian market.
