Balloki 1,223MW Combined Cycle Power Plant Project in Pakistan Undertaken by HEI Successfully Passes 168h Reliability Trial Run

At 18:00 on June 2, 2018, local time of Pakistan, the Balloki 1,223MW Combined Cycle Power Plant Project in Pakistan undertaken by HEI successfully passed 168h combined cycle reliability trial run with stable unit operation and satisfactory parameters. This is another successful continuous reliability trial run of HEI regarding the Balloki Project after the Bhikki 1,180MW Combined Cycle Power Plant Project in Pakistan passed the reliability trial run, reflecting the overall strength of HE and once again highlighting the HE brand in the power market of Pakistan.

The Balloki Project in Pakistan is an EPC turnkey project undertaken by HEI and is one of the 209HA combined cycle power plant projects undertaken by a Chinese enterprise abroad with the largest capacity and the highest efficiency in the world. The project is located about 80km to the southwest of Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan. The successfully power generation of the project effectively alleviates the local shortage of power.

Following the successful 168h trial run of units of the Balloki Project, both the Employer and the Employer’s Engineer spoke highly of the excellent service and work efficiency of HEI, especially the careful arrangement by HEI, 24h tour inspection by field workers in turns and their sense of responsibility.

Up to now, Bhikki and Balloki Projects in Pakistan undertaken by HEI both have successfully passed 168h reliability operation test, which lays a solid foundation for their subsequent Taking Over.
