On November 14, the 2025 CHTF Power Equipment “Five News” Exhibition and Power Safety Culture Development Forum, hosted by the China Electric Equipment Management Association, was held in Shenzhen. Harbin Electric International (HEI)'s Bhikki Combined Cycle Power Plant Project in Pakistan, recognized for “Building a New Safety Ecosystem at Overseas Power Plants Through a Three-Pronged Approach,” and the Syrdarya II Combined Cycle Power Plant Project in Uzbekistan, recognized for “Cultivating International Safety Culture Where 'Safety Becomes Habit,” each received Second Prize in the “2025 National Electric Power Safety Culture Project Awards.” These accolades represent significant new achievements in building the company’s safety culture brand.

The National Electric Power Safety Culture Project Awards are among the highest honors in China's power industry safety sector. They aim to elevate safety management standards across the power industry and recognize engineering projects or enterprises that exemplify best practices in power safety management—those that are representative, benchmark-setting, mature, well-developed, and outstanding. Award-winning projects or enterprises must demonstrate a comprehensive corporate safety culture system, consistently conduct robust safety education and training activities, establish and adhere to effective safety policies and standards, and integrate safety culture development with power equipment management operations.

HEI will leverage these awards as an opportunity to thoroughly summarize and promote its safety culture development experience, continue exploring innovative integration of safety culture with digital and intelligent technologies, and strive to build a world-class power safety culture brand, contributing Chinese wisdom and Chinese solutions to global energy security.
