HEI signed the Sudan Redsea 2 × 300MW coal-fired power plant project

December 27, 2011, HEI and Ministry of Electricity and Dams (MED) signed Sudan Redsea 2 × 300MW coal-fired power plant project.

Sudan Red Sea project is HEI’s first 300MW unit EPC Project in Sudan, the signing of the project marks the settlement of the first large Units EPC projects in Africa, and this is a project of great significance for our Company developing the overseas market.

In recent years, HEI is continually increasing the efforts to international market, and the full realization of comprehensive development in the field of hydropower, thermal power, combined cycle, power transmission and infrastructure construction, after-sale service. Up to now, HEI has completed the Sudan Garri I Combined Cycle Power Station, Sudan Garri II Combined Cycle Power Station and Merowe Dam Transmission Lines Project, and the Sudan Dongola Transmission Lines Project, Sudan Dam Complex of Upper Atbara Project and 220kv River Nile Transmission Project are under construction. We also provide the professional after-sale service Center which provide the spare parts, the overhaul and repair service. The Sudan Red Sea project filled a blank of HEI in the field of Sudan thermal power Plant project. So far, Sudan has become first market which have the most comprehensive types of HEI’s businesses, and which has the largest number of Projects.
