HEI Achieves Provisional Acceptance for Lot A (T/L Design and Supply Material)----Dongola-Wadi Halfa Transmission Project

December 4, 2011: the Sudanese Electricity Transmission Co. Ltd (SETCO), the owner of Dongola-Wadi Halfa Transmission Project, issued PAC for Lot A (T/L Design and Supply Material) to Harbin Electric International Co. Ltd (HEI). The current provisional acceptance is another important milestone HEI has achieved in the field of power transmission business since the successful completion of Merowe Dam Transmission Line Project in Sudan.

Dongola Project is the second transmission lines project HEI has contracted overseas. Since the completion of the first power transmission project overseas, HEI has accumulated rich experiences and won the trust of the clients with sincerity and quality. HEI’s excellent performance was praised by the Chinese Embassy and the Commercial Consular’s Office in Sudan, and the contribution made by HEI to the development of local power industry was highly evaluated.
