On May 7, 2013, Mr. Guo Yu, Chairman of the Board of HEI and Mr.Wang Yongren, President of NEPDI signed a Strategy Cooperation Partnership Frame Agreement in Chang Chun, China.

The cooperation between HEI and NEPDI traced back to the beginning of 1980s. NEPDI has participated numerous power plant projects undertaken by HEI in succession such as Pakistan Jamshoro Coal-Fired Power Plant Project, Shanxi Hancheng No.2 Thermal Power Plant Project, Sudan Garri Combined Cycle Power Plant Project and Vietnam Campha Coal Fired Power Plant. For a long time, NEPDI provides high quality design service and strong technical support to HEI＇ｓ overseas projects for bidding and execution. On the one hand, the signing of Strategy Cooperation Partnership Frame Agreement between the Parties this time strengthen and consolidate the cooperation foundation between the Parties in early stage; On the other hand, the Parties play their respective advantages through the better and mutually beneficial cooperation, developing international power market jointly, strengthen the deep cooperation against the new situation of power market, lays the foundation for a win-win situation.

The Parties expect to take full advantage of respective business operation, project financing, resource, technical advantages and rich experience of project execution in the international power projects field, conducting extensive and in-depth cooperation in thermal power station, cogeneration of heat and power project, transmission lines, new energy resources, project management and power system planning area and so on.
