On 14 May,2013, Harbin Electric International Co., Ltd. (HEI) formally signed the contract for NBT Wind Power Plant Project with Pakistan NBT II Energy (Pvt.) Ltd.

Pakistan NBT Wind Power Plant is located in the wind corridor in Gharo,Sindh province and in the southwest 17 kilometers to Jamshoro thermal power plant. The scope of work on EPC basis includes 5 year Warranty Period and Operation & Maintenance. The total 156 units of 1.6-82.5-type wind turbines with a gross installed capacity of 250MW are provided by GE-HE Wind Energy (Shenyang) Co., Ltd.

Pakistan NBT Wind Power Plant Project is another wind power project of HEI after Pakistan Master Wind Power Plant Project and Pakistan Dewan Wind Power Plant Project. Furthermore, it is the project with the biggest gross installed capacity so far. The successful signing of the project displayed the power of HEI in the new energy field and realized sustainable development in the field of new energy.
