On April 11, 2013, Harbin Electric International Company was invited by the GE (General Electric Company) to attend the 2013 GE-China EPC Partnership Summit in Beijing.

During the course of the summit, GE delivered a presentation that covered a myriad of topics, including industry development trends, the orientation of technological application, GE’s financing capacity, thermal power in the world’s six regional markets, as well as the application range of GE’s advanced technology. As an important partner of GE-China, HEI engaged fully with GE during the summit and excellent cooperative ties were established.
