On July 7, 2014, Mr. Qu Aimin, Vice President and Party Committee Secretary, and Mr. Adji, Vice President of Indonesian PJB Company, jointly signed a three-year LTSA and the first portion of a spare parts contract for the Indonesian ASAHAN 2X90MW Hydropower Plant, which is the first after-sales service contract signed by HEI in Indonesia. Mr. Amir, Vice President of PJB Company, and Mr. Hari, the President of PJBS, attended the signing ceremony along with representatives from PLN.

ASAHAN No.1 Hydro Power Plant is located in North Sumatra, Indonesia, and is the first cascade power plant in the Asahan Basin. It accounts for 10% of Sumatra’s total capacity. The solid performance of this power plant has had a profound influence on local Indonesian society. The Indonesian ASAHAN Hydro Power Plant is an IPP Project, which is co-shared by PJB, China Huadian Coporation, and other private companies; CHC acts as the EPC contractor, Harbin Electric Machinery Company as the OEM and PJBS, and the subsidiary of PJB as the O&M contractor. The successful signing of the Project has promoted HEI’s development of the Indonesian after-sales market and has laid a solid foundation for after-sales services in the Indonesian Paiton and Banten Projects in the future.
