On June 18, 2014, Mr. Mahmoud, CEO of Sudanese Thermal Power Generating Company Limited (STPG), Mr. Osman, General Counsel of STPG and Former Vice President of STPG, and their delegation paid a visit to HEI. Mr. Guoyu, Chairman of the Board and President of HEI, conducted a meeting with the visiting guests.

During the meeting, Mr. Mahmoud reported that the HEI-constructed Gaili I and Gaili II Combined Cycle Power Plants are successfully in operation, and that HEI provided after-sales services for the Gaili Power Plant, the Khartoum North Power Plants, as well as other plants, which have made a positive contribution to the Sudanese people. In the years to come, as there will be an increasing power demand in Sudan, he voiced hope for HEI’s continuing contribution to Sudan’s power construction. Mr. Guo Yu noted that, in order for a mutually beneficial relationship, HEI would deepen its bilateral partnership and provide long-lasting, superior services to STPG, so as to make a contribution to Sudan’s power development.
