On November 24, 2014, the Owner of the Indonesian BENTEN 1 Project-Malaysian Genting Power Holdings Limited’s President Mr. Ong Tiong Soon and electric business Executive Vice PresidentMr. Ling Eng Kheat along with their delegation paid a visit to HEI. HEI’s Chairman and President Mr. Guo Yu and Vice President Mr. Dong Yinzhu attended the meeting and accompanied them during their visit to Harbin Turbine Company,Harbin Electric Machinery Company and Harbin Boiler Company.

During the visit, senior leadership of Harbin Turbine Company,Harbin Electric Machinery Company and Harbin Boiler Companyextended a warm welcome to Mr.Ong Tiong Soon, President of MalaysianGenting PowerHoldingsLimited, Mr. Ling Eng Kheat,Executive Vice President of electric business and their delegation, and arranged personnel to reportthe equipment manufacturing progress of BENTEN I 1X670MW project and to accompany the Owner to inspect the project equipment manufacturing situation in the workshop.

After the visit, HEI Chairman and President Mr. Guo Yu and Vice President Mr. Dong Yinzhu had a meeting with Mr. Ong Tiong Soon, President of MalaysianGenting Power Holdings Limited and Mr. Ling Eng Kheat, Executive Vice President of electric business and their delegation, during which theymade a comprehensive introduction to the process of Indonesian BENTEN 1X670MW project and exchanged views on further cooperation.Mr. Guo Yu said that the Indonesian BENTEN 670MW thermal power project was the first cooperative project signed between HEI and Genting Power Holdings Limited. HEI highly values this project that it hassupported it with a professional construction team and taken building a high quality power station as its mission. Additionally, it is trying its best to speed up the project progress. At present, 57.3% of its overall workload has been finished, which matches the overall schedule. Mr. Ong Tiong Soon spoke highly of HEI’s efforts in grasping quality, catching up with progress as well as ensuring the project equipment manufacturing and the smooth progress of the entire project; meanwhile, he said Genting Power Holdings Limitedwould continue to strengthen the cooperation with HEI in the field of energy in the future.
