During their visits in Angren project site from November 4 to 6, 2014, Mr. Guo Yu, Chairman and President of HEI together with Mr. Lyu Hua, Chief Project Manager and General Manager of the 5th Thermal Division of HEI paid official visits to Mr. Sun Lijie, Chinese Ambassador to Uzbekistan, Mr. Wang Kaixuan, Economic and Commercial Counsellor and Mr. Basidov, Minister of Uzbekistan Ministry of Energy.

In the talks with Mr. Sun Lijie, Chinese Ambassador to Uzbekistan and Mr. Wang Kaixuan, Economic and Commercial Counsellor on November 6, President and Chairman Guo Yu of HEI introduced the implementation of Angren Project and exchanged views on common challenges for Chinese enterprises to implement projects in Uzbekistan. Mr. Sun Lijie and Mr. Wang Kaixuan spoke highly of the implementation of the Angren Project. Mr. Guo Yu expressed his appreciation on the support and assistance provided by the Embassy and the Economic and Commercial Counselor’s Office. Mr. Guo Yu also met with Mr. Basidov, Minister of Energy Ministry of Uzbekistan and had an in-depth exchange of views and discussions with respect to the implementation of the Angren Project on this day.

During this visit, Mr. Guo Yu went to the project site and debriefed the general progress of the Angren Project at present. Besides, he also had a short meeting with the Owner’s representative regarding their proposals and held talks with Mr. Hong Bo, President of China Energy HPCC1, Mr. Li Minghong, CPECC NEPDI and Mr. Hong Yuanchao, Vice President of BOCO Group and any other leaders.
