On October 11, 2014, the 9th China-Russia Economic and Trade Summit Forum was held in Sochi, Russia. Mr. Wang Yang, Vice Premier of the State Council of China and Mr. Rogozin, Vice Prime Minister of the Government of the Russian Federation who serve as the Co-Chairmen of Committee for Regular Meetings between Chinese and Russian Prime Ministers attend the opening ceremony. At the invitation of the forum host and China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Machinery and Electronic Products, Mr. Zhang Liwei, Vice President of HEI as the leader of delegation, together with Mr. Wang Ruian, Chief Operation Officer, Mr. Lyu Hua, Chief Project Officer and Mr. Ma Lijun, Deputy Director of the Marketing Department attended the Forum ‘Sino-Russia Cooperation on High-tech & Complete Sets of Equipments’. More than one hundred delegates from both countries were present at the forum.

On behalf of Chinese enterprises, Vice President Zhang Liwei of HEI addressed at the forum and introduced the HEI’s strength on EPC Sector and its electric products over the past. He stated that Chinese manufacturing of large-scale complete sets of equipments had witnessed a great leap forward for its development over the past 30 years, achieving strong international competitiveness. China and Russia enjoyed sound development opportunities in fields such as electric products trade and complete sets of equipments, and both countries would witness broader development space for their own high cost-effective strength electric products in respective markets. China and Russia shared strong complementarities and huge development potentials for their cooperation. Mr. Zhang Liwei hoped that enterprises of both countries should take this forum as an opportunity to deepen exchanges and cooperation, form the partnership for win-win results and mutual benefits and jointly make contributions to the Chinese and Russian economic development.
