HEI Chairman & President Guo Yu Meets with Top Leadership of ACWA Power and GE, and Inspects Hassyan Project Site

September 14th, 2016, HEI Chairman & President Guo Yu met with ACWA Power Chairman

M. Abunayyan (one of Hassyan Project sponsors and owners) and GE Energy CEO Mr.

A. Lusch to discuss matters concerning the promotion of the Hassyan Project.

The

Hassyan 4×660 MW Clean Coal-Fired Power Plant Project is not only the first EPC

project of HEI in the Middle East, but also the first outbound investment

project of HEI. Leadership meetings and talks have important significance for

the smooth implementation of the project\'s tasks in the next step.

After

the meeting, Guo Yu visited the site of the Hassyan Project to conduct an

inspection and guide the work. He inspected the construction of the site office

and other temporary infrastructures, listened to work reports by Chief Project

Officerand General Manager of the Sixth Thermal Power Division Xu Hongfu as

well as other responsible personnel, acquired information concerning the problems

and difficulties encountered in the process of construction, and talked with

field staff, encouraging them to make persistent efforts to do a good job for

the smooth progress of the project.
