Uzbekistan’s Acting President Mirziyoyev Inspects Site of HEI’s Angren Project

On September 20th, 2016, accompanied by Uzbekistan\'s Vice

Premier, Deputy Secretary of the Department of Energy and Head of the Angren

Power Plant, Uzbekistan’s Acting President Mirziyoyev inspected the site of HEI’s Angren Project.

During the tour of inspection, Mirziyoyev paid visits to the main power

workshop and master-control room, listened to a briefing by the owner about the

Angren Project’s progress and

unit operation conditions, and learned about traveling to China for training

and post-transfer operation. He then expressed his satisfaction with the

progress made in the project so far.

Mirziyoyev also met with Chinese representatives. He said that the Angren Project

contracted by HEI involved the first circulating fluidized bed unit among CIS

countries. He was pleased with the smooth progress and stable power generation

contributed by the good cooperation between the two parties. Uzbekistan looks

forward to more opportunities to work with HEI.

At present, the Uzbekistan Angren 1×150MW Coal-fired

Power Plant Project contracted by HEI is able to be operated at full power.
