On April 26, 2017, President Qu Aimin of Harbin Electric International Company Limited (HEI) and CEO Mr. Iwan of Indonesian PT Pembangkitan Jawa-Bali (PJB) signed on behalf of the two companies a long term service agreement for power units supplied by HE Group within the jurisdiction of PJB.

The agreement is an extension of the three-year long-term service agreement concluded between HEI and PJB in 2014. The term of this agreement shall commence from 2017 and terminate in 2020. It involves all the power plant services for Asahan Hydropower Project, Paiton Thermal Power Project and Awar Project in Indonesia.

Before signing the agreement, Qu had talks with PJB President Mr. Iwan and Vice President Mr. Henky respectively. In his talks with Mr. Iwan, Qu extended his gratitude for PJB’s years of support and assistance to HEI and promised that HEI would try its best to provide PJB with high-quality and high-efficient all-around services and guarantee safe, stable and reliable operations of the power units supplied by HE Group to Indonesia. Mr. Iwan expressed his satisfaction with services provided by HEI over the past three years and expected that HEI could support PJB’s work as always.

Qu discussed with Vice President Mr. Henky of PJB, Manager and Assistant Manager of PJB Procurement Center on the future bilateral cooperation in the development of new projects. Mr. Henky said that in order to show the importance of services, PJB Procurement Center would expand from a department to a subsidiary and expected deep cooperation between the two sides in project development, project implementation experience sharing, after-sales services, etc.
