On September 8th, 2017, Mr. Dong Yinzhu, Vice President of HEI, participated in the fourth session of the Energy Cooperation Subcommittee of the China-Uzbekistan Intergovernmental Cooperation Committee in Tashkent Trade Center jointly organized by the Ministry of Economic Affairs of Uzbekistan and the National Energy Administration of PRC.

Mr. Saidova Minister of Economic Affairs of Uzbekistan, Mr. Bai Keli Director General of the National Energy Administration of PRC, Mr. Mustafoev President of Uzbekistan Energy Company, etc. delivered speeches at the session respectively. Mr. Saidova Minister of Economic Affairs of Uzbekistan fully affirmed the construction of Angren Phase I Project, highly evaluated the work done by HEI in the project construction and hoped to continue to cooperate with HEI in the construction of Angren Phase II Project and a cooperation intention on it would be reached as soon as possible. Mr. Mustafoev President of Uzbekistan Energy Company thanked HEI for its contribution to the construction of Angren Phase I Project. He said that the Uzbekistan side was preparing the documents for the early stage of Angren Phase II Project and the documents would be submitted to the Ministry of Commerce of PRC to show their determination to continue to cooperate with HEI.

Mr. Dong Yinzhu appreciated the Government of Uzbekistan and Uzbekistan Energy Company for placing their trust in HEI and expressed that HEI paid high attention to the cooperation with the Uzbekistan side, the construction of Angren Phase I Project had been successfully completed with the active cooperation of Uzbekistan Energy Company, it had started to generate power four months ahead of the time specified in the contract and it had achieved good economic benefits and social benefits. Mr. Dong YInzhu said that HEI would provide better equipment and services for Angren Phase II Project and make a greater contribution to the energy development of China and Uzbekistan.

Mr. Saidova Minister of Economic Affairs of Uzbekistan and Mr. Bai Keli Director General of the National Energy Administration of PRC respectively signed the session minute on behalf of their own countries at the end of the session.
