HEI Signs a Strategic Cooperation Agreement with Sargent & Lundy, L.L.C.

At 15:30 on August 10, 2017, HEI signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Sargent & Lundy, L.L.C (S&L). in Harbin, which has important strategic significance to HEI’s further expansion in the international high-end power station EPC market.

S&L is one of the oldest, largest, and most experienced power plant engineering firms in the world, and is a leading designer of thermal power stations. It began providing professional engineering and consulting services to the power industry in 1891, and it has designed over 900 generating units—over 130,000 MW of capacity—which includes coal, gas, nuclear, and renewable energy projects, of which, there are over 160 combustion turbine simple-cycle, combined-cycle, and cogeneration units. It has conducted over 220 owner’s engineer engagements over the last 20 years. S&L is headquartered in Chicago, Illinois, USA, with additional project team locations worldwide. It has strong experience in all regions of the world, including Europe, South America, North America, and othe high-end regions. Its global resources include joint ventures and carefully chosen alliances with other world-class organizations, helping to bring the clients a full suite of extended services.

The strategic partnership between the two companies will have positive and far-reaching impacts on the international market development of HEI It paves a “green channel” for HEI brand to tap international high-end power market and cooperate with more international companies that are leading and powerful in the world’s energy industry.
