From November 10 to 12, the foundation pouring for the Nairyah 2 Project 2# & 3# Gas Turbines and Generators Superstructure in Saudi Arabia, constructed by Harbin Electric International (HEI), was completed. With this milestone, the foundation pouring for all three gas turbines and generators in the main power island area of the Nairyah 2 Project has been fully completed, establishing a solid foundation for the timely installation of core equipment including gas turbines and generators.

With the completion of the major foundations in succession, the project team has now shifted its focus to the next phase of primary tasks: construction of the densely distributed minor foundations in the main equipment area, integrated pipe rack foundations, and underground piping networks. This phase presents challenges characterized by “high foundation density, numerous overlapping operations, and significant mutual interference,” placing extremely high demands on the scientific planning and precision of construction management. All project team members will continue to maintain high morale and a rigorous work conduct, conducting thorough planning and meticulous organization to go all out in winning the battle for the upcoming construction challenges.
