At 3:10 a.m. local time on October 21, the boiler blowing operation for the Manzanillo III 350 MW Combined Cycle Project in Mexico, undertaken by Harbin Electric International Co., Ltd. (HEI), was successfully completed. The target plate inspection results met all specification requirements, and the operation passed acceptance testing in a single attempt.

To ensure the boiler blowing was completed on schedule, the Manzanillo Project team worked tirelessly around the clock, overcoming difficulties through efficient coordination and teamwork. By maintaining strict control over safety and quality throughout the entire process, optimizing the implementation plan, and allocating resources effectively, the team significantly shortened the construction period compared with the original schedule and set a new local record. Their outstanding management and execution capabilities earned high praise and recognition from the project owner.

The successful completion of the boiler blowing operation has laid a solid foundation for subsequent milestones, including grid connection of the combined-cycle system and reliability runs. The Manzanillo Project team will continue to uphold its spirit of determination, work in close coordination, and spare no effort to ensure the successful achievement of all upcoming project goals—contributing more “Harbin Electric strength” to the joint development of the Belt and Road Initiative.
