Pakistan Bin Qasim 560MW Combined Cycle Power Plant, undertaken by Harbin Electric International Company Limited as EPC Contractor, successfully passed the Performance Test of the combined cycle section on 7th May, 2012 and the Provisional Taking Over Certificate for the whole power plant was issued by the project Owner on 18th May, 2012. As of 18th May, 2012, all Provisional Taking Over Certificates for said power plant have been received by HEI and the power plant came into defect liability period.

Bin Qasim Power Plant is the 1st EPC 309E Gas Turbine Combined Cycle Power Project solely undertaken by Harbin Electric International Company Limited in Pakistan after the Uch CCPP jointly completed by HEI and GE. In three years execution and performance of above project, HEI won full recognition of Pakistani Owner and Owner’s Engineer by the high level service and high quality products; and the outstanding result thereof also obtained great praise from Pakistani People.
