After intense preparations, Uzbekistan Angren 1X150MW Coal-Fired Power Plant contracted by Harbin Electric International Company (HEI) held a ground breaking ceremony in Angren Power Plant at 10:18 on May 3rd, 2014, marking the formal ground breaking of the Project.

Mr. Khmanov, mayor of Angren, Mr. Yuchiev, General Manager of Angren Thermal Power Plant Corporation, Mr. Zhuang Honggang, Senior Construction Manager of HEI’s 5th Thermal Division, and Mr. Chu Xianghua, Manager of China Energy HPCC1’s Project Division attended the ground breaking ceremony and delivered speeches, respectively expressed their wishes for the successful completion of the Project. The excavation ceremony was also held with sheep sacrifice ceremony.

The ground-breaking ceremony is a significant milestone for Angren Project. The formal ground breaking on the site of the project will efficiently promote the progress of Agren Project, laying a sound foundation for the Project.
