Time:2016-10-2 |
On September 30th, 2016, HEI’s Turkey ZETAS III 2x660MW Coal-fired Power Station EPC Project obtained a TOC certificate issued by the owner, marking that the project has been completed and officially transferred to the owner with a warranty period of two years.
The Turkey ZETAS III Project, the first thermal power project contracted by HEI in Turkey on January 23rd, 2013, is positioned as a landmark project for HEI to tap into the Turkey market, and also the first major project of a Chinese EPC enterprise in the European market in the implementation process of the ‘One Belt and One Road’ strategy. Officially commenced on January 7th, 2014, the project uses 660 MW supercritical thermal power units manufactured by HE Corporation, manufactures wet FGD devices and SCR denitration devices at the same time, and adopts electric bag filters for dust removal and condensers with a direct seawater cooling system in open-cycle cooling. With the tenet of ‘providing users with sincere services’, HEI strived through scientific organization and planning to overcome such adverse factors as a heavy workload of design coordination, strict equipment acceptance standards, long maritime transport cycle, narrow and scattered on-site warehouses and work yards, heavy workload of construction coordination and construction difficulties. It took 968 days for HEI to successfully complete all the milestones of the project, and the two units passed their 168-hour commissioning on July 20th, 2016 and August 27th, 2016 respectively. According to the TOC certificate, Unit 4 was delivered to the owner on July 31st, 2016 and Unit 5 on August 31st, 2016, making it clear that the two units were completed 67 days and 36 days in advance respectively, setting a new record in Turkey for the shortest construction period of 660 MW class units At present, the two units of the Turkey ZETAS III contracted by HEI are in their warranty period. The successful completion of this project sets a new record for the shortest construction period with the use of good quality Chinese-made power station equipment among overseas contracting projects, and wins wider recognition for the HEI brand in international markets, thereby laying a solid foundation for HEI to tap into the high-end power markets of Europe and other regions, and making great contributions to the implementation of the national ‘One Belt and One Road’ initiative. |
