At 16:00, April 15, 2017 local time, the No. 2 Unit of the Pakistan Bhikki 1180MW Combined Cycle Power Station Project successfully passed its 168-hour reliability test and could be handed over to the owner for commercial operation. Mr. Cheema, CEO of the owner’s company sent a letter to express his gratitude to HEI.
As an EPC turnkey project undertaken by HEI, the Bhikki 1180MW Combined Cycle Power Station Project is a 209HA Class combined cycle power station project that has the largest capacity of any plant built by a Chinese enterprise overseas, which boasts the world’s highest efficiency. The No. 1 unit was synchronized on March 9, 2017 after seventeen and a half months of hard work, while the No. 2 Unit also successfully passed its 168-hour reliability test with HEI’s unremitting efforts. Mr. Cheema, CEO of the owner’s company, expressed his gratitude and highly praised HEI by letter. He said that it should give credit to the Bhikki Project team’s stringent control of project planning and high attention to safety and quality management at all levels that the No. 2 Unit could successfully pass its 168-hour reliability operation milestone. The owner mentioned that he appreciated the team’s outstanding contributions to the Bhikki Project, and hoped HEI’s project teams could make persistent efforts to witness new bright prospects in the future.
