At 17:35 on July 3, Dubai local time, the Unit #2 boiler hydraulic test of the Dubai Hassyan 4×600MW Clean Coal-fired Power Plant Project contracted by HEI was completed successfully at the first time. This marked the overall completion of installation of the Unit #2 boiler proper, creating favorable conditions for subsequent boiler thermal insulation and laying a solid foundation for Unit #2 boiler acid pickling and steam blowing.

In order to ensure the success of Unit #2 boiler hydraulic test, HEI Hassyan Project Team organized professional teams from GE and China Energy Engineering Group Tianjin Electric Power Construction Co., Ltd. to communicate with the Employer several times regarding the boiler hydraulic test program, eventually coming to an agreement. During the hydraulic test, the project team led various parties to work continuously for 24 hours and successfully accomplished the objectives of the Unit #2 boiler hydraulic test. The design pressure of the boiler for Hassyan Project unit is 31.1MPa and the test pressure is 46.7MPa. The hydraulic test was conducted in strict accordance with the hydraulic test program during the entire test process and the test pressure was successfully maintained for 20 minutes according to the requirements of the program. The entire test process was recognized by the Employer and ASME authorized inspector.
