From May 9 to 10, Li Chao, Chairman of Harbin Electric International (HEI), led a delegation to conduct an on-site inspection at the Saudi Nairyah 2 project, evaluating the engineering construction progress on the ground. He listened to a report on project execution and contract fulfillment, and outlined clear requirements for the project's key objectives.

During the inspection, Li Chao fully recognized the project team’s exquisite professional capabilities and rigorous work style. He noted that the Saudi Nairyah 2 Project is a key overseas execution project for the company, and in the face of complex regional security situations and various construction challenges, all staff members of the project department have consistently stationed themselves on the frontline, conscientiously fulfilled their duties, and spared no effort to advance project construction, strongly demonstrating the responsibility and commitment of a central enterprise. He added that leading this site inspection also serves to convey deep care and warm regards from the company to frontline overseas employees, aiming to further boost team morale, build synergy, and ensure steady, orderly project progress alongside high-quality contract fulfillment on schedule.

At the symposium, Li Chao emphasized that first, the project must be advanced with scientific and holistic coordination, flexibly optimizing construction plans and working hours in accordance with local climate characteristics in Saudi Arabia, while sparing no effort to enhance construction efficiency and ensure project milestones are achieved on schedule under the premise of guaranteeing personal and operational safety on site. Second, management should combine strict regulation with sincere care, both rigorously standardizing site management to build a solid safety defense line, and showing comprehensive care for the work and lives of both Chinese and local employees to strengthen team cohesion and a sense of belonging. Third, great importance must be placed on talent development by assigning challenging responsibilities and providing growth platforms, guiding employees to hone their skills and build expertise through practical experience, continuously improving their capacity to independently resolve complex issues, and aiming to build a high-quality, professional, and internationalized overseas project management team to provide a solid talent backbone for the sustainable development of the company’s overseas business.

During the visit, Li Chao and his delegation also met with Marwan, CEO of the project owner’s company, engaging in an in-depth exchange of views on project construction progress and the subsequent optimization of resource allocation, which laid a solid foundation for the smooth advancement of the project moving forward.

Zhang Shijie, Deputy General Manager of HEI, along with relevant responsible officials from the Market Development Department, Southeast Asia Regional Headquarters, Middle East Regional Headquarters, and the Company's General Office, attended the aforementioned activities.
