As the opening year of the 15th Five-Year Plan period, the first quarter serves as a critical starting point to seize development opportunities and solidify the foundation for the whole year. All subsidiaries of Harbin Electric Corporation have focused on their core businesses, stepped up production operations, expanded market reach and boosted innovation, securing a strong start successfully. Their outstanding achievements have laid a solid foundation for high-quality development throughout the year.

Adhering to the "three-oriented" development positioning, HEI has further tapped into markets along the Belt and Road. Key energy projects in major regions including Uzbekistan and Saudi Arabia have achieved milestone breakthroughs one after another, demonstrating the solid overseas project delivery capability of central state-owned enterprises. As the largest under-construction combined cycle power station in Central Asia, Gas Turbine Unit 2 of HEI's Uzbekistan Syrdarya II 1,600 MW Combined Cycle Project achieved a one-off successful grid connection for the first time, marking that the main works of the project have entered the final sprint stage. In Saudi Arabia, on March 25 and 28 local time, the first hoisting of waste heat boiler steel structures for Saudi Nairyah 2 and Rumah 2 Projects was successfully completed. The waste heat boiler areas of the two projects have officially entered the critical equipment installation phase, consolidating the foundation for the steady progress of subsequent construction. In addition, the No.1 gas turbine of the Saudi Nairyah 2 Project was successfully put in place, kicking off the official installation work of the project.
