Recently, 13 project management professionals from Pakistan and Bangladesh traveled to China to participate in a cross-border exchange and training program organized by Harbin Electric International (HEI). From technology exhibition halls to manufacturing workshops, the participants gained a more firsthand understanding of China's power equipment manufacturing capabilities, while further deepening bilateral cooperation.

At the company’s smart exhibition hall, participants gained a comprehensive understanding of HEI's smart operations and maintenance platform, including its development journey, digital solutions, typical application scenarios, and actual implementation results in overseas projects. The intelligent diagnostic systems, remote expert services, and data governance frameworks displayed in the hall generated strong interest among the trainees. The live demonstrations of equipment condition monitoring and fault early warning functions gave everyone a firsthand appreciation of the value that smart O&M brings to enhancing power plant safety and long-term reliability.

The participants visited Harbin Boiler Company, Harbin Turbine Company, and Harbin Electric Machinery Company. They were deeply impressed by the clean and orderly equipment in the production workshops, the standardized and rigorous manufacturing processes, and the massive scale of the manufacturing facilities. Many stood for a long time in front of large rotors being machined, expressing that they now had a more tangible and stronger confidence in the “Harbin Electric equipment” operating at their own power plants.

This cross-border exchange and training program, bonded by technology and bridged by culture, showcased not only China's hard power in energy equipment manufacturing, but also the confidence and responsibility that China demonstrates in open cooperation in this new era. Through visits to manufacturing workshops and the smart O&M exhibition hall, participants gained a more comprehensive understanding of the systematic nature, advancement, and reliability of Chinese power technology. Through face-to-face exchanges and on-site discussions, both sides reached closer consensus on professional capabilities, O&M philosophy, and management expertise.
