At 3PM of November 8th 2010,the President & CEO of Vietnam Cam Pha Thermal Power joint-stock Company (CPC), Mr. Pham Dac Lam issued the Provisional Acceptance Certificate of Cam Pha Coal-fired Thermal Power Plant 1 Project to Mr. Su Haihong, the Cam Pha Project Manager of Harbin Power Engineering Company Limited (HPE). The representatives of consultant and the deputy project manager of HPE, Mr. Song Hailong and Mr. Zhang Yang, attended the award ritual. The effective date of PAC was August 10th, 2010.

Cam Pha project department is responsible for projects construction tasks of Cam Pha I and Cam Pha II, the work is very heavy. Under the correct guidance of company leaders and the substantial support of other departments, the staff of project department overcame various difficulties through their strenuous efforts, and finally successfully completed the most important milestone work of PAC. This is another major milestone of Cam Pha Power Project I after completing 30 days Reliability Running on February 1st, 2010.

During the project implementation process, Vietnam government delegation and the owner acknowledged HPE’s great effort for several times and thought highly of our excellent project executive capacity and the outstanding achievement of Cam Pha Project. Especially in the first half of 2010, Vietnam was seriously lack of electricity, which influenced the social production and stable circumstances. The synchronization of Cam Pha Power Project I& II made great contribution to ease Vietnam local electricity tense situation. The PAC issuance of Cam Pha Power Project I means HPE has walked in front in Vietnam power construction contracting industry, furthermore laid the foundation of developing Vietnam power market.

Now, the 30 days of Reliability Running of Cam Pha 2 has been started, and we will make our best to ensure the success of project.
