On December 22, 2014, HEI formally signed a contract with Hawa Wind Power Company on Hawa wind power project in Pakistan.

The site of Hawa wind power project is located in Jhimpir wind corridor, Thatta District, Pakistan, adjacent to the site of Dewan wind power project. It is an EPC turnkey project including wind machines and auxiliaries supply, design, construction, installation, commissioning and technical service. The gross installed capacity for this project is 49.6MW.

In recent years, HEI gradually intensified its development in new energy market, getting orders of wind power project for three consecutive years. Thus it highly expanded HEI’s market share in new energy industry and its brand influence as well. Pakistan Hawa wind power project is one of HEI’s great achievements in developing new energy market. The success of signing this contract indicates that HEI’s capability in the field of wind power has been fully recognized by the Pakistan Owner, which further stabilizes HEI’s dominant position in EPC of wind power projects in Pakistan and also lays a solid foundation for HEI to further develop wind power projects in Pakistan as well as other countries.
