On April 21 and 22, 2017, President Qu Aimin of Harbin Electric International Company Limited (HEI) visited the sites of Bhikki and Balloki Projects, Pakistan for inspection and guidance.

Qu listened to a work report from the project team and made a deep investigation into the overall progresses of the two project sites. At present, #1 unit of Bhikki Project undertaken by HEI was synchronized on September 9, 2017 and the #2 unit successfully passed the 168h reliability test run on April 15, 2017, setting a record high for the construction of combined cycle power stations in Pakistan, winning high praise from the Employer and maintaining a good reputation for HEI in Pakistan. Balloki Project is also striving for a new record in respect of 9HA unit installation and commissioning.

Qu highly affirmed the implementation of Bhikki and Balloki Projects and conveyed the comments of the Employer on HEI project management and construction. Qu pointed out that the current progress in Balloki and Bhikki Projects was owed to unremitting efforts of HEI staff. Qu encouraged everyone to overcome difficulties through solidarity and collaboration, continue to carry forward the hardworking spirit, endeavor to complete all the progress milestones for the projects and ensure combined cycle synchronization of the two projects.
