HEI President Qu Aimin Visits Important Customers and Project Sites in Indonesia and Turkey for Site Inspection and Instruction

From December 19th to 27th, 2016, HEI President Qu

Aimin went to Indonesia and Turkey to visit Indonesia Power Vice President Mr.

Eri, PLN Vice President Mr. Amir, PJB President Mr. Iwan, Eren President Mr.

Ahmet Eren, the owner of the Turkey Zetes Phase III Project, Mr. Veysi, the

owner of the Turkey Soma Project, and other relevant personnel. President Qu

Aimin also made a special trip to visit Zhu Guangyao, Counsellor of the Economic

and Commercial Counsellor's Office of the Embassy of the People's Republic of

China in the Republic of Turkey, and paid a visit to the sites of the Turkey

Zetes Phase III Project and Turkey Soma Project to conduct a site inspection

and give instructions.

On December 19th, President Qu Aimin met with Indonesia Power

Vice President Mr. Eri for an in-depth discussion about Indonesia's power

development and future planning, and carried out friendly consultation on the

renovation works of the 4X400MW power plant of Indonesia Power. Mr. Eri spoke highly of the

EPC projects constructed by HEI in Indonesia, and promised to choose HEI as a priority

partner for such renovation projects.

On December 20th, President Qu Aimin met with PLN Vice President

Mr. Amir leading the power development planning who pointed out that Java is

seeing a gradual decrease in power demand as a number of new power plants have

been put into operation, while Sumatra, Kalimantan and several other islands remains

strong power demands. He hopes that HEI will continue to focus its project

quality, work together with PLN to develop new projects, and consistently

provide high-quality and high-efficient after-sales services for the units

supplied by HEI in the Indonesian market. President Qu Aimin said HEI will work

closely with PLN to make contributions to Indonesia's power development.

On December 21st, President Qu Aimin met with PJB President Mr.

Iwan, Vice Operation President Mr. Miftah and Vice Business President Mr.

Henkey, as well as the Head of Purchasing Division, Plant Director and O&M Manager

of the Indonesian Paiton Power Plant. They carried out an in-depth exchange on the

operation and maintenance guidance, training, generating unit overhauling

(scheduled to be conducted in 2017) and spare parts supply of the Indonesian

Paiton Power Plant. They also discussed the renewal of long-term service

agreements with HEI.

On December 23rd, President Qu Aimin met with Eren President Mr.

Ahmet Eren, the owner of the Turkey Zetes Phase III Project. Mr. Eren spoke

highly of the HEI project execution team for the Turkey Zetes Phase III Project,

and expressed his hope that HEI will provide more support in after-sales

services. President Qu Aimin said that HEI will spare no efforts to provide

owners with the best after-sales service to ensure that the units work stably

and effectively. They also signed an after-sales service agreement for the Turkey

Zetes Phase III Project.

On December 26th, President Qu Aimin met with Zhu Guangyao, Counsellor

of the Economic and Commercial Counsellor's Office of the Embassy of the

People's Republic of China in the Republic of Turkey (ECCO), reported the

implementation status of HEI’s projects under construction in Turkey, and

expressed his appreciation for the support of ECCO. Counsellor Zhu Guangyao spoke

highly of HEI's performance in Turkey's power market and introduced the

prospects of Turkey's power industry, especially its strong demands for new

energy-based and local coal-based power generation. He hopes that HEI will base

itself on national interests to set up a sound presence for ‘Made in China’

brands and enhance safety management, particularly in personal safety and

safety production, so as to avoid safety accidents. He also kindly advised

HEI's employees in Turkey to avoid crowded areas in order to be safe. President

Qu Aimin said that HEI will perform these activities in strict accordance with

the requirements of the Embassy and ECCO, thereby ensuring the smooth progress

of the aforementioned projects in Turkey.

On December 26th and 27th, President Qu Aimin met

with the owner of the Turkey Soma Project Mr. Veysi and Project Manager Mr.

Oral. Mr. Veysi hopes that HEI will give more attention and support to the Soma

Project, and assist him in speeding up its progress. President Qu Aimin said that

HEI will reinforce its support for the Soma Project; he looks forward to

working in unity with the owner to pursue its early completion.

During his visit, President Qu Aimin paid a visit to the sites of the Turkey

Zetes Phase III Project and Turkey Soma Project to conduct an site inspection

and give his instructions. He hopes that all participating parties will raise their

safety awareness, strengthen their personal safety and safety production

management, give full support to the owners and ensure the smooth progress of the

projects.
