As the new year began, good news came from both the Saudi Rumah 2 and Nairyah 2 project sites, undertaken by Harbin Electric International (HEI): the main structures of the 1# Electrical Control Buildings for both projects were topped out on December 29 and 31, 2025, respectively.

As a core structure on the critical path of the project's ICOD, the topping-out of 1# Electric Control Building marks a significant phased breakthrough for the project. This building serves as a crucial platform for the subsequent entry, installation, and commissioning of key equipment such as electrical cabinets. The topping-out for both projects was completed ahead of the original schedule, winning valuable time for subsequent work, including masonry, interior finishing, and decoration. This has effectively advanced the overall project progress.
