The Manzanillo III Combined Cycle Project in Mexico is the first combined cycle project undertaken by HEI in the North American market, holding significant strategic importance for HEI's efforts to deepen its presence in Mexico and the entire Latin American market. The project has an installed capacity of 346 MW and utilizes internationally advanced combined cycle power generation technology, featuring high efficiency, low emissions, and flexible operation. After its official handover, the project will effectively enhance the power supply security in Mexico's western region, provide safe, reliable, and clean energy support for over one million local residents, reduce greenhouse gas emissions, and help transition the regional energy structure towards a green and low-carbon model, injecting momentum into global sustainable development with the strength of “Chinese Construction.”

During the project construction period, HEI's Americas Regional Headquarters coordinated and promoted lean management in safety, quality, and schedule. Facing multiple challenges such as a tight schedule, complex technical standards, and high localization requirements, the project management team rose to the occasion and collaborated sincerely, forging quality with craftsmanship and fulfilling its mission with practical work, ultimately achieving high-quality project delivery and winning high recognition and praise from the owner and all partners.

Moving forward, HEI’s Americas Regional Headquarters will adhere to its commitment to high-quality project delivery, fully cooperate with the owner to provide technical support, defect elimination, and other related services during the warranty period to ensure the long-term safe, stable, and efficient operation of the units, further consolidating and enhancing the influence and reputation of the HEI brand in overseas markets, and continuing to deepen international cooperation in the energy sector under the BRI to write more chapters of mutually beneficial cooperation.
