HEI Develops Smart Management Platform to Support Overseas Project Construction

In the context of globalization, safety management challenges in overseas construction projects are becoming increasingly prominent. In response, Harbin Electric International (HEI) has leveraged modern technology to develop a "Smart Site Management Platform". Through integrated information application with cloud platforms, mobile internet, and smart devices, combined organically with construction and production processes, the platform achieves intelligent management of construction operations.

With outstanding innovation and practical achievements in digital transformation of safety management, this initiative has recently won multiple honors. At the 2025 Second National Electric Power Industry Construction Management Innovation Achievement event organized by the China Electric Equipment Management Association, the platform received a "First-Class Project" award.

HEI's Smart Site Management Platform interconnects the headquarters' digital project management platform with projects such as the Syrdarya Phase II Combined Cycle Power Plant Project in Uzbekistan and the Mymensingh Combined Cycle Power Plant Project in Bangladesh. By collecting data on personnel, machinery, materials, methods, and environment, and utilizing real-time video monitoring, construction management, and digitalized acceptance process workflows, the platform guides and drives the company's on-site safety management toward digital and intelligent transformation and upgrading.

The successive honors not only represent high recognition of HEI's innovative practices in digital and intelligent transformation of safety management, but also serve as powerful validation of HEI's commitment to the strategy of "promoting safety through technology" and its use of technology to empower safe development.
