The happy news came out from Campha I 300MW Coal Fired Thermal Power Plant in Vietnam that the Steam Turbine kept rolling 3000 Rpm for once at 16:49 on May 2. During the period of rolling and changing up, all the index of Unit’s sound, vibrancy, vacuum condition and bearing temperature reached the technical standards, and Water, Oil and Steam Systems operated very well at critical revolution.

The steam turbine of the unit started rolling at 12:20 on May 2. In the meanwhile, Mr. Haihong Su, the Project manager of Campha I project and Mr. Qigui Zhou, the Vice-President of Guangdong Thermal Company and other lead officers present in the Main Control Room for the key time.

The rolling speed of Turbine reached 1000 Rpm at 12:46 and the units enter into medium-speed warming period, then at 13:59 rolling speed reached 2155 Rpm when it was high rate warming period, at 16:49 the units finally reached 3000 Rpm. With that the units were keeping constant speed, the Oil-pump Cut-in test, Safeguards Online test and Wind hammer&Oil injection Pressure test were established. After that the units reached normal idle at 17:02.

The successful rolling of the Turbine creates a sound qualification for next full-set startup and lay a solid foundation for further synchronization.
