Mr.Ge Xin, the GM of Marketing Department of HPE signed the Project Contract with the CEO of Sudan Stated Power Company in Sudan Friendship Palace on December 24 2008, in witness of President of Sudan, Minister of Finance Ministry and the Chinese Ambassador of Sudan embassy, including other government officers from the both party.

The Work Scope of the Project is mainly as: the design, supply and instruction of erection for Dongla/Wadi Halfa 220KV, 400KM double circuit line and the EPC Scope for the design, manufacture, supply, construction, erect commissioning and trial operation, which include training. The total completion period is 28 months.

This project is second large-scale Transmission Line Project compared with Merowe Dam Transmission Lines Project in Sudan. It helps the Company widen and develop the skills on transmission line projects and makes an important process for the development link between past and future in Sudan power market.
