On October 15, Li Chao, Chairman of Harbin Electric International Company Limited (HEI), met with a delegation led by Yang Shuhua, General Manager of China Construction Science and Industry Corporation Ltd. (CSCEC Science and Industry). The two sides held in-depth discussions on international business strategies and collaboration in overseas markets. Zhang Shijie, Deputy General Manager of HEI, attended the meeting.

Li Chao warmly welcomed Yang Shuhua and his delegation on behalf of HEI. He outlined the company’s achievements in reform and development, its track record in major projects, and its plans for international business development during the 15th Five-Year Plan period. He noted that the two companies enjoy a solid foundation for cooperation. Against an increasingly complex and volatile international market environment and intensifying competition, he expressed the hope that both sides would strengthen communication and coordination, foster closer integration of their industrial and supply chains, and work together to build resilient and efficient industrial chains. He also called for joint efforts to expand overseas markets, deliver high-quality benchmark projects, and enhance the reputation of Chinese enterprises abroad.

Yang Shuhua thanked HEI for its warm reception and introduced CSCEC Science and Industry’s overseas business presence and industrial development. He noted that, as a leader in the construction and management of international power projects, HEI has achieved substantial success in expanding its global business footprint. This aligns closely with CSCEC Science and Industry’s development model, which centers on steel structures and advances engineering services and products together in overseas markets. He expressed the hope that the two sides would establish a regular communication and coordination mechanism, fully leverage their respective resources and business strengths, enhance business synergies, and explore broader and deeper practical cooperation.
