On July 20, Harbin Electric International (HEI) held a welcome meeting for newly recruited university graduates of 2026. HEI Chairman Li Chao attended the event and delivered remarks to the new employees. Shen Chaohui, Chairman of the Trade Union, presided over the meeting, with other company leaders in Harbin also attending the meeting.

Li Chao extended a warm welcome to the new hires and shared three expectations for their professional growth and development. First, he encouraged them to accelerate their transition into the workplace and make the most of the development platform. He expressed hope that the new employees would quickly adapt from student life to professional roles, seize the broad opportunities offered by HEI, remain grounded in their positions, and build a solid foundation for future growth. Second, he urged them to engage deeply in overseas markets and develop a strong sense of responsibility through practical experience. He encouraged the new employees to embrace the challenges of working on overseas project sites, refine their professional skills through hands-on practice, demonstrate the spirit and dedication of HEI employees, and embody the mission of Belt and Road builders through their actions. Third, he encouraged them to remain sincere and true to their original aspirations while maintaining a healthy balance between work and life. He expressed hope that they would approach others with kindness, move forward with integrity and determination, find fulfillment in their work, enjoy a stable and rewarding life, and contribute their youthful energy to the company's high-quality development.
HEI places great importance on the training of new employees and has made thorough arrangements to ensure its effectiveness. Following the welcome meeting, the company officially launched a two-week centralized training program for newly recruited employees. Department heads personally delivered training sessions, adopting a diversified approach that combined theoretical instruction, on-site visits, practical interaction, and assessments. The program aims to help new employees quickly adapt to their new roles and integrate into the company’s development. HEI will continue to advance its special program for the cultivation of new employees during their probationary period, supporting young talent in pursuing their aspirations and building multiple pathways for career growth. Through a series of initiatives, the company will help young employees enhance their capabilities, undergo professional transformation, and grow into key contributors, injecting a continuous source of youthful vitality into the company’s high-quality development.

Key leaders from various HEI departments attended the meeting. More than 20 newly recruited university graduates from renowned universities in China and abroad, including Harbin Institute of Technology, Tianjin University, North China Electric Power University, Dalian University of Technology, the University of Hong Kong, and Nanyang Technological University, participated in the event.
