On June 25, local time in Saudi Arabia, the 2025 Annual Meeting and Election & Commendation Conference of the COCC was held in Riyadh. The conference, themed “Pooling Efforts, Deepening Services, Promoting Cooperation, and Seeking Common Development — Driving High-Quality Development of Chinese Enterprises in Saudi Arabia,” was attended by Chinese Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Chang Hua and Minister-Counselor He Song, who delivered speeches. HEI won two annual honors and was successfully elected as a council member of the COCC and its Power and Energy Industry Branch, fully demonstrating the company’s brand influence, industry recognition, and comprehensive competitiveness in the Saudi market.

The commendations were jointly evaluated and presented by the Chinese Embassy in Saudi Arabia and the COCC. HEI Saudi Arabia Branch was awarded the title of “2025 Outstanding Chinese Enterprise in Saudi Arabia,” and HEI's Rumah 2 1774.8 MW Independent Power Project in Saudi Arabia received the title of “2025 Outstanding Chinese Project in Saudi Arabia.” During the conference, the election for COCC’s council was also completed, and HEI Saudi Arabia Branch was successfully elected as a new council member of the COCC and its Power and Energy Industry Branch. As a council member, the company will further play its role as a bridge and link, actively participate in the COCC’s development, and strengthen communication and collaboration with the Chinese Embassy in Saudi Arabia, the COCC, and all member enterprises to jointly promote the high-quality development of Chinese enterprises in Saudi Arabia and contribute more to deepening China-Saudi economic and trade cooperation.
