A few days ago, Turkish Eren Enerji sent an appreciation letter to HEI, expressed its thanks to HEI for the smooth running from commissioning period to operation and maintenance period in HEI-contracted Zetes III 2×600MW coal-fired power plant project, and reputed HEI as the first-choice Chinese contractor and the best partner in Turkey energy generation projects.

In the appreciation letter, Eren Enerji expressed its full confidence in HEI’s technical capabilities and service quality, praised that HEI possesses superb power plant commissioning and operation technologies and large-sized power plant management experiences, and professional personnel team, well matching its state-level qualification.

The Turkish Zetes III 2×660MW Project is the first landmark project in Turkey’s thermal power market contracted by HEI on Jan. 23, 2013, and the first major EPC project in the European market contracted by a Chinese contractor in China’s the Belt and Road Initiative. In Oct. 2014, the Project was officially commenced and was designed to use HE-made 660MW supercritical thermal power units. Over the period of more than 2 years, HEI overcame many adverse factors such as delay of equipment delivery and slow civil works, and synchronized the first unit for power generation in June 2016.It received the TOC certificates of two units in September, two months and a half ahead of the scheduled time. HEI created the record of the shortest construction period for 2×600MW-level units in Turkey. Since the units were successfully synchronized for power generation, HEI’s project team has ensured the normal operation of the units and won high trust of the Owner. In Jan. 20, 2017，the project was officially granted the provisional acceptance certificate by the Employer, creating a good record of Made-in-China power plant equipment with the shortest construction period and the best quality for the overseas EPC projects and making outstanding contributions to China’s Belt and Road Initiative.

The successful completion of Turkish Zetes III Project has won good reputation of HEI in Turkey’s electric power market and laid a solid foundation for HEI to continuously develop the market in Turkey.
