November 24 2011: the first of two 600 MW units at the Salaya I Power Generation Project contracted by Harbin Electric International Co,.Ltd (HEI) in India was successfully synchronized with the transmission grid. The unit has been running stably with good technical performance.

Salaya I 2×600MW Power Generation Project is the first cooperative project by HEI and Indian Essar Group. Being HE Group‘s first 600MW unit exported to India, Salaya I Project is a significant milestone in HE history of developing Indian market. The current successful synchronization fully demonstrates the capability of HEI, which laid a solid foundation for the smooth execution of HEI’s following projects in India.
