On March 19th, 2014, Bangladesh Sylhet 90MW Combined Cycle Power Plant Project contracted by HEI officially achieved final acceptance certificate issued by the Owner. At this point, the all the construction missions and those in the Defect Liability Period of the Bangladesh Sylhet Project have been completed.

Bangladesh Sylhet Project is the HEI’s first EPC Combined Cycle Power Plant Project in Bangladesh. The Project Owner is the Bangladesh Power Development Board (BPDB). During the execution of the Project, HEI tackled the difficulties head on and united wholeheartedly to finally achieve power generation and taking-over of the Project, earning itself respect and recognition and enhancing its impact and competiveness in the Bangladesh market.

Achievement of the Bangladesh Sylhet Project’s final acceptance certificate not only improved HEI’s performance, but also accumulated valuable experience and laid a solid foundation for the follow-on projects to be developed by HEI in Bangladesh.
