AP1000 nuclear series equipment is use of Generation III nuclear technology introduced from America Westinghouse Corporation.

Steam generator is one of the main equipment for nuclear island, whose function is to make heat exchange between primary line coolant and secondary line feedwater, and transfer the nuclear reaction heat of the reactor core to the feedwater of the secondary line, and generate saturated steam. Steam generator is the hub to connect primary line with secondary line. Tube plate and U-shaped tube constitutes part of the primary coolant’s pressure boundary of the reactor, serving as the separative enclosure to separate the medium in the primary and secondary side.
